la primitivaOn October 18 the La Primitiva lottery numbers were:  25-26-28-30-31-40 with  strong numbers: 11 and 1. No one won the jackpot but there were 2 players who had 6 numbers without the strong numbers, and each won €864,969. And there were three players who had 5 numbers + a strong number and each won €86,496. Another 156 players had five numbers and each of them won €3604.04. Since no one won the jackpot, the next La Primitiva lottery will be held October 23 with a jackpot €20 million.

La Primitiva lotto is probably the oldest lottery game in Europe. The first drawing of a game similar to a lottery is called Lottery by Númerosе which took place on  December 10, 1763. After 1812 the name was ITS and called La Primitiva. In 1862 the game was prohibited and then reinstated by a king’s decree on 7 August 1885.  It is now organized by the National Organization of Lotteries and Bets (ONLAE). The biggest prize won was for 21,622,286 Euros on May 12, 2001.
The lottery tickets are forms can have up to eight combinations of six numbers each, within the range from 1 to 49. The game consists of drawing 6 balls from 49.  After the six main numbers are revealed, a seventh, additional one is drawn as well, which also is used in determining the winners.
